All
of our flags are dye sublimated on an outdoor fabric. Life
expectancy of flags can vary significantly based on several
factors. First and foremost is "mother nature".
Heavy winds will cause the unattached end of the flag to "whip" which
serves to essentially beat itself up. The intensity and
duration of these winds will reduce the longevity of the
flag. The sun and rain also serve to degrade the fabric
while at the same time fading the image. We recommend taking
flags in at night and during stormy weather. If this procedure
is followed, you can expect a flag to last six months to
a year. |

Custom
outdoor flags can be ordered as either one sided, two sided
mirror image or two sided with an opaque liner. A one sided
flag is only printed on one side and consequently has limited
show through onto the back side. When outdoors and flying,
it is not easy to tell that this flag is only one sided.
However,
the back side is mirror image which means that any copy
on the backside of the flag will look backwards. |

The
second style of flag is much like the "one sided with limited show
through" previously discussed. The difference is that the
show through to the back side is much greater. It still is "mirror
image" on the backside but the back looks almost as good
as the front. Finally, for those who insist on being able
to read both sides properly, we offer two pieces of fabric
sewn back-to-back with an opaque liner in the middle. This
involves three pieces of fabric which makes the flag heavier
than those described above. This style takes stronger wind
to make it fly. It also tends to beat itself up more in
heavy air due to the three layers. |

All
of the flag options can be any size or shape desired. From
the traditional 3ft x 5ft, to a triangular pennant, or
to a "tear drop" display. When it comes to flags, we are limited
in size to 56" by any length. If you have a wall mount
flag pole at a 45 degree angle, we can cut the 3x5 with
a similar angle so that the flag is legible even if there
is no wind. |
